Jonathan Wells and Mary Newton

(Simeon’s parents, our 5th great-grandparents)

Jonathan Wells was born in 1695 in Colchester, New London County, Connecticut, to Mary White and Noah Wells. He married Mary Newton 11 Jul 1717 in Colchester. Mary Newton was born 23 Apr 1699 in Colchester to James Newton and Mary Hubbell.

Jonathan died 25 Jan 1756 in Colchester. Mary died 10 Jan 1754 in Colchester. They are buried in the, aptly named, Colchester Burying Ground.

All of Jonathan & Mary’s children were born in Colchester.
