Simeon Wells and Lydia Knight

(Judah’s parents, our 4th great-grandparents)

Simeon Wells was born on June 17, 1720, in Colchester, Connecticut, to Jonathan Wells and Mary Newton. Simeon married Lydia Knight – the marriage was performed by the Rev. Ephraim Little on June 27, 1751 – most likely at the Colchester First Congregational Church in Colchester, Connecticut. Lydia Knight was born on 26 June 1730, in Colchester, Connecticut to Mary Ransom and Samuel Knight.
